Despite what the title and the work's typically Baroque orchestration might suggest, Résonance d’ornements was nót conceived

as a study of Baroque ornamentation. During this compositional process, ornamental figures began to emerge.

I just followed them where they led, and before I knew it, they had become an integral part of the music.
