Musique Peinte (2024) is a collection of 11 short piano pieces written over several years.

The music moves freely between lyricism, simplicity and unexpected turns, often revealing traces of the French Impressionist tradition.

Alongside the more reflective pieces there are moments of gentle humour and playfulness.

Some of the titles also reveal a touch of Satie-esque absurdity.

Musique Peinte is dedicated to my brother Fons, who introduced me to Debussy's Children's Corner when I was around thirteen years old.
