The image reflects a recurring theme throughout this album: the strange possibility that something beautiful can emerge from difficult experiences.

Allégresse parmi les éclats ("Joy Among the Shards") grew from the realization that, for me, traumatic experiences have left more than just wounds.
In my life as an artist and composer, they have also become a major source of inspiration, imagination and, in a bizarre sense, gratitude.
